French people are totally opposed to changes in their pensions with 60% saying they do not want retirement age to go above 62. This figure from a poll ( sondage ) in Sud Ouest Dimanche.
Sadly with a huge budget deficit the French must live in the real, not ideal world. Which ever Party was in power the statistics remain the same and even a Socialist Government knows it has to tackle the problem. Tough measures in tough times.
