Many people in the area will remember with affection Geoff and Jean Lipscombe and many will remember the number of evenings Geoff who did not have the best of health himself giving his time to the community. He played his organ / keyboard piano at church services in the village of Varen on Sunday services. He organised concerts for the community in his garden, memorable evenings they were. Jean loved old time musical hall and often rolled out her barrel or sang about her old man dilly dallying.
Well Geoff is not dilly dallying now, as a tribute to his beloved Jean who died August 2012, he has made a CD of his piano music. I think I need not remind you that Geoff was a professional musician working in bands all his life. He now offers this CD to us ( running time one hour ) for £ 10 plus £2.70 for postage . All profits will be donated to the Critical Care Unit at Kings College Hospital London where Jean spent the last three weeks of her life. He hopes to raise £600.
Please support Geoff who with wife Jean gave so much to their adoptive French community.

Geoff has just phoned to thank me for putting this on TAG and it came out in that conversation that his costs in making the CD were £400, so he needs to take £1,000 to give the Critical care unit £600
Let us help him and I can tell you that you will enjoy his piano playing.
