Big day Monday at The Gazpacho in St. Antonin when the Antiques Roadshow comes to town.
Experts will be ready and waiting from 10.30 am till noon to help you identify your, treasures, books, maps, prints, photographs, postcards, furniture pottery and porcelain etc. If you have a treasure identified the experts will then give you an idea about insurance or how to sell.
Remember often your treasure is something the children might like to inherit and certainly identifying things of value before we pass on, is worth while. I always have a dread of the house been cleared when we have gone and special things in haste being sent to the dechetterie. Leaving a letter with special things is always worth it. It is the same with photos, make sure Grandpa is identified with dates , these are lovely to be passed on. If there is just a photo with no information, it will get binned.
Experts on the day are Val and Malcolm Johnstone on books and Ann Hebert ( spelt it right Ann) on furniture and pottery.
