Between St. Antonin, Caylus and Septfonds thieves came in the night. They opened up the fence ( cloture) and let the cows escape presumably to get them out of the way. They then butchered the magnificent bull " magnifique taureau" weighing over a ton, taking away all the meat but leaving the entrails. The poor farmer discovered his roaming cows and the entrails the next morning.
