Neighbours living near the bank, "la banque populaire occitane"in Cordes Sur Ciel were disturbed in the night by noise and phoned the gendarmes. Burglars had broken the glass front doors of the bank and tried to break in to drawers, chests and other locked cupboards inside, to no avail. Any money was locked away in the safe. Gendarmes say it was not a professional job.
