A top French Barrister Olivier Metzner has been found dead drowned at his own private beach in the " golfe du Morbihan" He had left a suicide note.
Olivier was very well known in France for his involvement in high profile cases. In the past he had represented amongst others Dominique de Villepin and he is at the moment the barrister for Francoise Bettancourt-Meyers, the heiress to the L'Oreal fortune.
In 2010 he bought the beautiful private beach, L'ile de Boedic in Morbihan for 2.5 million euros and at the end of 2012 put it up for sale for 10 million.
There are many theories circulating why he would take his life, over working being thought high on the list. Strangely I can find no mention in any reports about family, apart from he came from a humble background.
