Villagers in the south Tarn commune of Albine were offered the chance to invest in 8 eoliennes (wind turbines) on the heights above the village. Far from the usual protests, 80 inhabitants decided to invest in the scheme which will bring them a share of the revenue generated by the sale of power to EDF.
