What a beautiful garden

We had a fantastic day which was started off with a group of 5 who had been (unbeknownst to us) waiting by the gate for 11am!! We had 40 people through the gates & raised a grand total of e196 which will be sent to Positive Steps today, this will make a huge difference to many people so a massive thank you to everyone who gave so generously not to mention our star - Michelle who worked so hard in the kitchen & to all the friends who so generously baked for us. Success....

A-lot of people left saying that they felt inspired & i believe that several couples were going to be headed in the direction of pond construction, or indeed the other end of the scale a water free, dry plants garden, there was considerable interest in our alternative power supply with people arriving prepared to take notes & look into leaving the grid which is very exciting indeed. It was a joy to see groups wandering down through the meadow or sitting in the Mediterranean garden, the laughter & sharing of ideas & anecdotes around the tea table was heart warming indeed. All the exhaustion that went into the preparations was well worth it. We would love to ask anyone who wants more info or indeed just another perusal to come back again. Next year we will aim to do the same again, date to be decided!
