Say cheese, please

Roquefort cheese is one of the emblematic products of south west France, but its popularity is in decline. It seems that younger people are rejecting blue cheeses and sales are down 11% over the last 8 years. A well known brand "Société" is launching a range of new products containing Roquefort including grated cheese, with 40% blue cheese and 60% brebis (sheeps' milk cheese).
On another food topic, beef farmers are blockading abattoirs in protest at the price they receive for their animals. Demanding government action to increase the price by 65 centimes per kilo. The Minister of Agriculture has commented that he does not control prices in a free market nor make consumers more inclined to eat beef, which is losing popularity.
