I just wanted to let you know that we have our dog Olga back since last week. She was missing for 17 days in total .A poster that a friend had stuck on the poubelles near Najac was seen by somebody who had spotted a similar looking dog in a ‘found’ dog announcement on the Bon Coin & it turned out to be her! She was 15k from home & being fed & looked after by a lovely family near Villefranche.So a happy ending all round & many thanks for all your help.

Val says how they worry you these dogs, but great news she is back and those posters around the area worked. I have asked if the dog was chipped or tattoed apart from being the law it means anyone finding your dog can check with the vet and your dog can be returned. Working with the dog rehomers of St. Antonin I am realising how important identification of your pet is.
Not identified and not claimed after 10 days that dog could have ended up being rehomed and they would have had no claim to their pet. Think about it IDENTIFICATION is important.
