Garden Open

Dear Val & Malc,

We've decided to take the plunge & once again open our garden gates to everyone who would like to come along. Tuesday May the 12th is the chosen day from 11amuntil the evening. It's difficult to be precise as to what will be blooming but the ponds & bog garden are already fantastic & with the cistus erupting in the mediterranean garden & some wonderfully colourful iris's not to mention all the wild flowers & the raised beds planted up it promises to be a day with something for everyone who loves a country garden. We've 10 acres of woodland & wildflowers & we're proud to say we have never in our 18 years of being here used chemicals on any of it. Being off grid we are totally self sufficient for power with photovoltaic panels & a small wind turbine & we're more than happy to help educate anyone interested. There will be tea, coffee, cakes & hopefully some scones with homemade jam in return for a small charity donation towards Positive Steps an African charity providing prosthetic limbs & bicycles to children in need living in Malawi.
Our bit of paradise is mid way between St Antonin & Septfonds ( 6k's out of town) Take the 2nd turn on your left after the hilltop posted St Cirq & Gouvern, continue for 3 km's & turn left in Gouvern posted Tourondol, we are 750 mtrs on your right. Lausoprens Tel 0563305377. Thank you so much for posting this & we hope that many of you can make it for a spring day out.... Oh i should add with 3 attack trained cats one would be advised to leave the dogs at home!!
Very best Laura & Sid
