European money for a local project

New access ramp at Mas de Monille
Many of us have visited Mas de Monille, near St Projet, to enjoy their repas of locally produced pork and chicken (or sanglier under its previous owner). But access was difficult for groups and handicapped visitors. A plan to increase access, plus insulation to extend the season throughout the year was drawn up to cost about 80000 euros and the regional body responsible for the European agricultural funds decided to participate to the tune of 22000 euros.
As part of the plan to create agro-tourism in the region Mas de Monille is the first to be classified as "Tourisme et Handicap" in Tarn and Garonne.
