The Shadows and not a Guitar in sight
Strange dark lines in the sky, what could they be: a UFO, anti-matter beams, aliens or none of the above? Whilst out walking this morning we observed these incredibly dark straight lines on the base of the clouds, in fact we saw them emerging and becoming stronger in definition as if there was a gianttelegraph pole in the sky casting a shadow from the morning sun. But the sun was hidden behind the clouds so how was this possible? As the clouds cleared we could see in the sky jet contrails and using the ever useful internet we discovered that the sun can project a shadow from behind the contrail onto clouds below giving these strange dark lines in the sky, so mystery solved and no aliens this week.
