The weather is beautiful and we are beginning to be touched with the Christmas spirit. All is not lost in the world we feel after the kindness shown last night to the boys. A reader asks " were you in tears? I would have been" Well there were more than Malc and I in tears, Jane Wallace ( treasurer of FET) who has done so much for refugees not just ours had tears in her eyes as she handed over the collection. Both Malc and I had tears in our eyes and lumps in our throats as on leaving the restaurant the actor Clive Francis jumped up and hugged the boys and wished them well.
