Hi Val
I don’t want this to become a “saga” but I don’t agree with C’s comments about the need for a Green Card.
The Saga insurance certificate has this wording on the back and the Aviva one had something similar, as probably do most insurers offering cover for EU travel:
a) des autres pays membres Union Europeénne;
Glad you liked L’Ô’zone.

Hi Val
Many thanks to John D for the update. When I wrote of the need for a Green Card I very nearly added "or some equivalent documentation in its place". To keep it simple, I left that bit out - perhaps unwisely. Saga clearly have the situation covered by way of an extension to their British certificate wording. For those holding UK insurance and planning a trip to France it's worth checking that they have a similar wording - and asking for a Green Card if not.
