A rather beautiful sky this morning, puffy grey clouds tinged with pink, backed by blue sky. The temperature is lower but actually that is a bit of a relief. After all the family have left after 5 weeks we are busy seeing friends and catching up on local news. The bridge club at Caylus is going strong, with 18 players last night. Two newcomers Rose and John won and Malc (the President) and his partner David were second. On the night a past President and her partner Ness and John had a toast raised to them as they return definitively to the UK.
Boules is Friday afternoon 2.30 pm at Verfeil sur Seye. Malc has for the first time ever missed many Fridays but is hoping to make this afternoon.
