The seasons change and along with autumn colours we get local wine picking. The vineyards of Gaillac, the bio wine producer Meakins, Domaine de Merchien and many smaller personal vineyards, all will be picking over the next weeks. I love the smell of pressed grapes floating on the winds as you drive through the wine producing areas. We remember once driving in the Burgundy area at this period and one feels heady from the smell of grapes fermenting.
