Someone said today that they felt so sorry for my little innocent virginal donkeys suddenly being faced with a big randy male. Listen, that little floozie Rosie is having the time of her life. I have said donkeys do not seem to smile but I have changed my mind, and if Filou is taking no notice of her she flicks her tail to one side and is not averse to giving a swift kick to get his attention. It is poor Filou one needs to feel sorry for, a bit of a weighty lad and looking distinctly tired out. I just hope Lucy my other girl does not come " en chaleur" for a few weeks. The boy needs a rest.
