The nurse has just phoned to make an appointment to come on Friday morning to give us our flu jabs. Now the reason I am mentioning this, is just think of the cost of a nurse driving up to Mas del Sol to give us our jabs. The sooner the Health Centre is opened in the village of Varen the better it will be. Had Malc taken the call as last year I am sure he would have arranged for us to go to the nurses office for them but as I was a bit taken unawares by the call I had not time to formulate the words for changing the appointment.
How long can the French health service continue in this way?
As we have never been pensioners in England I do not know if we would have got this service there, I doubt it.
