As it is becoming colder and darker in England when I walk the dogs I wondered whether Reggie (from taglines "the dog with no name") had, in his former life, experienced snow. I guess he must have done from your latest blog but hopefully he has better memories of that than other weathers. He is definitely not impressed by rain (of which we have some experience here). He mostly is extremely recalcitrant about going out for walks when it's raining.

Val says It is so lovely to hear about Reggie, the dog who at one time was chained up and left in his own excrement. Great to know that now his only worry is a bit of rain, thanks for continuing to read Douglas and give that good boy an extra cuddle from us all here.
