A quick request if possible.
My partner is a kidney transplant patient and as a result she has to return to the UK and have 3 monthly check ups at her renal unit in the UK.
We are coming to a point where we have to decide whether to stay here longer than originally planned etc and as a result that would mean transferring all her medical care to France. We are aware of the Carte Vitale etc and that is all in hand.
Clearly there is some trepidation given the circumstances and we are searching for a contact who may be able to advise us about the ease of doing this, plus all the other things that go with post transplant patients and regular renal unit check ups, medicines, possible emergencies etc
So, before we visit the local doctor to ask questions, we were wondering if you could put something on your Tag Lines website to see if there is anybody who has a good contact or similar who we could talk to about the situation....I suppose similar to Britline Bank but in the medical world! It would obviously be easier to air the concerns etc to an English speaking person who has the knowledge of the system and our needs. If we had to do it in French I don't think we could get all of our questions answered!
