I shall plant the Orchard.

I am going to do it. You ask what is that Val? Well, I am going to plant an orchard. Why have you taken so long to decide? Well I thought I may not live long enough to enjoy the benefits. Sod it, I may have another twenty years and if you never do anything on the basis that you may kick the bucket what a restricted life you would end up leading. When we bought our house in Henley the garden was just beautiful, a dedicated rose garden, a Japanese garden with pond and gold fish, the most superb orchard and the lady who had created it died as it was finished and that unfortunately has been in my mind. Banish these thoughts, my friends live life to the full and the last minute. I shall be out there on my tractor picking the fruits of my labour until the last. Friends here have cancer or heart problems and go on for years with superb medical treatment, so all of you with problems take heart, nobody knows when the end is nigh but you can go out having enjoyed every minute.
Not only that I want a chestnut tree [just like yours Moya] next to a patio area which people can dine around, so that is now on my to do list.
Can you tell I have had a couple of glasses of wine!
