How about planting a ground covering rose in French known as '' couvre sol rosier" We visited last night the most beautifully planted garden and it is amazing what can be achieved in just a few years. The plant that impressed me most was a rose covering quite a large area of ground and will be covered in flowers before too long. Also not requiring watering and the growth in just two years was amazing.
