Since the arrival of this insect in Tarn and Garonne the Mairie at Montauban has set in place a programme of " démoustication" spraying 3 times a year 300 kilometres of ditches. The mosquitos reproduce at a phenomenal rate and are found by stagnant water. Stopping their progression in the department is very important.
