Sitting socialising soggy dogs and imagining.

This morning Eldo was having his second " coffee experience" at the Troubadour in Laguepie. We noticed whilst lazing in the sun stirring our allongées, that yet another village house is having a new roof and being done up. In the years we have been here Laguepie has changed enormously and is continuing to evolve. Imagine in a few years Laga could be so smart, this village on two beautiful rivers, could price itself out of the market like Henley on Thames or playground of the stars Sonning. Malc felt the gravel lorries would need to be stopped going through but I reminded him of the terrible traffic jams at Sonning bridge every morning and evening, and who has just moved there but George Clooney. He does have the advantage of helicoptering in but maybe we should start building a couple of helipads in readiness for the stars.
Or do we prefer Laga as the very charming, slightly down at heel in certain places typical French village. I think we are happy as it is, house prices and all.
