Passengers on the Paris area RER B line were surprised to see their train held up by a dromedary (one hump camel) on the line. The animal had escaped from a circus and wandered onto the line just after the lunch break started. SNCF say that the camel was re-captured unharmed and trains resumed normal service within an hour.
