Everyone I met yesterday in the sun said " enjoy, the rain will be back tomorrow" A bit grey but still dry and perhaps I will get time to finish off my tub planting. Yesterday after another lovely relaxed lunch sitting out at La Seye et vous, with two dogs under the table(socialising Eldo) we came back to continue with gardening projects. The donkeys are back with us after spending a few weeks in a field over the road. I am so pleased they are back, I have so missed my morning talks. Walking the dogs takes up more of the day now with lively Eldo who plays turns with Bonny being on the lead. As long as we have one under control there is no fear of deer and hare chases in the woods. Down by the river the dogs are on the loose and tend just to snuffle around the waters edge and yes, I have plastic bags in my pocket for any betises. Not one pet has been without a tick this week, Max the cat winning the award for most ticks, having 3. Everyday each pet undergoes a tick search, constant vigilance hopefully will pay off.
Enjoy your day, with pets, with ticks or without, I hardly remember life without ticks and the essential tick fork.
