In memory of those arrested by the SS in 1944

On the 6th June 1944 the Gestapo arrested 41 residents of Grisolles after they were betrayed. Of the group 13 were deported, 7 never to return. The rest were held in a Toulouse prison until the liberation. The maire and local committee of resistance groups held a ceremony to remember the victims.
