Our Eagle Owl injured, found in the skip

I suppose he is the Eagle Owl of the area, probably felt by everyone to have a sense of ownership about him. He nests in the cliffs along the edge of the property of Jeremy Rewse Davies and people round about keep a quiet watchful eye on him and his partner. Why then has he been found injured in a benne / skip  at the dechetterie at Lexos?
Fortunately the dechetterie site guardian was alerted to the fact the injured bird was there and transported it safely to his office and from there contacted the proper authorities. The bird which in French is called "un Grand Duc" has been taken safely to an equipped bird rescue centre at Millau.
I wonder if we will see him back here next Spring after his recovery?
Malc says  He could be the one from the cliffs above the dechetterie, and he is right.
