I wonder if Louise has ever taken the time to watch a dog (bitch) with her litter. She uses her mouth to lick the pups to calm them, her mouth to groom them and her mouth to nip them when they cross the boundaries of good doggie social behaviour.
Of course, Louise could always chastise bad behaviour by kicking her dog!!! No conflict there!
