I have just got back from Espiemonts where Debbie and John ran this morning a very popular plant swap, the car is laden with strawberry plants all for free which Penny the hen eyed with interest.
It was also an opportunity to chat ( and buy plants ) from Terri Trippett of Parisot. Her builder husband is delighted with the work he has got from an advert on TAG and Terri herself is going to advertise her market garden next year on TAG which will be open three days each week next year.
Also bought some lovely unusual alpine plants from John, so nice to get knowlegeable advice from all these gardening experts.
Deidre Honey the natural raffle ticket seller had her tickets out and was talking people in to buying tickets for the TAG Christmas raffle before I could even find mine in my bag. She handed over 100 euros already collected and my grateful thanks go to her, so effective was her sales pitch I was tempted to buy some more.
I was also able to hand over the chair which two kind TAG readers Ray and Jean had donated to a reader Yvonne. Di Tornai was then taking it on its next step to deliver to Yvonne. What team work.
I am sure we will receive an update about the days events from Debbie, when her feet touch the ground.
