Having spent the last half hour reading the news, like all news it was pretty dreary, sometimes sad and even horrific. I woke in such a good mood I want to stay in that frame of mind so I will give you my own French news.
The new donkey hut we are having built is well on the way to be finished, and it is such a solid building I did think I could move Malc out there (now that is a joke as I know there are those of you who have sympathies with Malc) There have been big discussions with the French guys building it about the planks being horizontal a l'anglaise or vertical a la francaise. The French argument won through. I said the donkeys would not mind which ever way they were.

Whilst I am on a roll with fencing I am going to cut back some bushes round a little pond to increase the area of field for the girls. Hopefully by the end of the week we will be like the Ponderosa Ranch with happy fenced in grazing donkeys and we will love having them close at hand for feeding hay through the winter.
