Well one was discovered in a " benne" in a déchetterie at Angles. Now my first thought was it was some odd bird I did not know the French name of, or certainly some cute animal.
An obus is in fact an explosive device of some sort (a shell usually). The déchetterie was closed till it was disarmed.
