It's our favourite - let's go there

More than 3 million viewers saw the Breton village of Ploumanac'h elected France's favourite for 2015. Since then more than 70000 extra visitors have enquired or booked to go there and it is expected to reach 100000 extra - 15% more than normal.
The maire of Cordes sur Ciel, last year's winner, reports a smaller rise but points out that places which are already well known are attractive to visitors and have the infrastructure to cope. He says that visitors stop to be photographed in front of the plaque erected by France 2 TV. But he says that there are so many plaques that people become confused: "Un des plus Beaux Villages de France", "Grand Site du Midi Pyrenees" , "Village Prefere des Francais" etc.  Many visitors think it is "Le plus Beau Village de France" he says ironically.
We wonder if the same effect works for the village which was placed third - St Antonin.
