Don’t know if anyone else heard the report from Kos on Radio 4 PM programme yesterday afternoon. An English guy telling people not to cancel proposed holidays there, he had been there for two weeks and although obviously hearing about the refugees had not seen any sign of them. He said the Greek people, despite being in a bad way themselves were trying desperately to help. Another man interviewed said he had been down to the area taking milk and anything else he could and said the same thing, the Greeks were taking clothes and bedding to give.

Val says There are always people who will help and even though the Greeks are suffering themselves Jacky's sister and Greek husband are ones who are helping. There are others who shout" get back and fight you cowards"
Jacky has promised she will report back after their trip and the skills of her Doctor husband will be invaluable.
