Two south west
lycéennes have won prizes in a nationwide competition to investigate "deportation and resistance". Nearly 2000 schools entered over 40000 pieces of work in various categories, and two 17 year olds, one from Tarbes and one from Toulouse, were awarded prizes which enabled them to accompany elderly resistants to the sites of German deportation.
