A dull damp morning, not at all what we are used to.
Tonight is opera night at Mas del Sol, the Otto Preminger film Carmen Jones. Some excitement about this amongst us opera buffs, Roger and Frank and Joan who have the DVD all have seen it. Roger in 1958 when it came out. Money raised will go to Via Sahel Enfants D'Afrique.
I am also trying to get people who are sympathetic to the plight of refugees to become volunteers at Realville. A new attendance centre with few facilities and so far with seemingly no coordinated volunteer set up. If you live over towards Caussade towards Realville think of getting involved. It is very rewarding helping people who have lost everything.
The event to raise money organised by Linda for the local dog rehoming group did well yesterday but the fact remains that they still have lots of dogs and puppies looking for new homes.
