It appears that drivers of firms' vehicles which are "flashed" for speeding often escape a fine or points deduction because the notice is generally paid by the employer (who may or may not demand reimbursement). Clearly when a vehicle is used by many drivers it may not always be possible to pin down the exact culprit, but the law is to be changed to compel employers to identify the driver.
Firms could be fined up to 1875 euros for non-compliance.
