Nous sommes le jeudi treize octobre

I think there must have been some rain through the night and more expected this morning in fact Malc tells me Tarn et Garonne is on orange alert for rain and storms.
We are two thirds finished the work in the donkeys field but with the weather today we will take a break.
Some more furniture and clothes to pick up this morning for Bruniquel, but we are relieved that after an amazing response the apartments are stocked with a motley selection of beds, fridges, cookers and bedding. Nothing matches but as I keep saying after Calais and sleeping in wet muddy tents it is going to seem like a palace.
Malc and I have made the decision not to be involved in Bruniquel and the refugees other than to find things they need and help raise money for their needs. It is three quarter of an hour's drive for us and with petrol costs and the time factor caring for the young men and possible families will be down to others who live nearer Bruniquel. If anyone nearby is wanting to help we can only tell you from our experience it is very rewarding experience.
We are still very involved in the lives of the earlier intake and hope we will be  for life.
I note they still need shower gel and toiletries if anyone wanted to make a donation.
There is a dance this coming Saturday in the Chateau  of Bruniquel to raise funds , it will be fun, some great bands.
A reader tells me they have supplied 24 toothpastes and soap, etc, well done that reader.
