We want to invite you to our August fundraising lunch in aid of the donkeys who live here in the life of luxury ! Most of them were badly treated in their previous lives with stories of them living with long hooves, no water, or already at the butchers or horse markets just before being sold to make the really long journey down to Italy to be killed for meat !
Our lunch will be held on Thursday 25 August at Lavolvene, 82150 Belveze
We will start with an aperitif, followed by lunch at 1 oclock with this special French/English menu .....
Starting with GATEAU D'AUBERGINES AU COULIS DE TOMATE
Then either POULET LAVOLVENE, or our VEGETARIAN DELIGHT
then for desert we need to know which you would prefer ..
LEMON MOUSSE or CHOCOLATE NUT TART
We will make sure you'll be nice and cool inside the house or for those we may
seat outside there will be lots of shade.
17 euros a head please to include as much as you want to eat and drink.
Maybe you'd like to bring any items of bric a brac, clothing, electricals or books that you no longer need, we are always happy to take these in to help boost the funds for the donkeys. Only recently someone handed me a pot of coppers and when counted it amounted to 46 euros, great it was a lovely donation !!
