A young man described as "passablement émêché" - slightly tipsy - was asked to leave a Haute Garonne village fete dance after making unwelcome amorous advances. But undeterred he came back, armed with a chainsaw! Happily for the other dancers the saw refused to start and the man was disarmed and eventually taken into custody to sober up. He will be asked to explain his actions to a magistrate today.
