Those of us who drove up the hill from St Antonin towards Septfonds on Sunday were horrified to see a wrecked car which had obviously been in a terrifying accident. Reports suggest that in two separate incidents young men were either killed or seriously injured in traffic accidents. It is claimed that hundreds of youngsters had gathered in a neighbouring field for an all-night rave and on leaving early on Sunday morning one was hit by a car and another fatally crashed his car.
It is said that such "raves" are not uncommon in the Montricoux/Bruniquel area, but this was the first in the environs of St Antonin .
