"Enough is enough" say top women

17 well known women ex-ministers have made a joint announcement that they will from now on denounce systematically any sexist remarks, gestures or inappropriate behaviour from colleagues, friends, journalists etc.
They say that whenever a woman reaches a position in an essentially male environment they are subjected to sexist behaviour almost systematically. From now on no more "banter" or keeping quiet for "the sake of the party". Anything they consider inappropriate will be made public. This comes in the wake of the "Baupin" affair, with ecologist deputy Denis Baupin accused of sexual harassment both physical and by SMS. He has accused his detractors of defamation and the court will decide.
Meanwhile these powerful and successful women say no more silence.
