Yet more strikes and demonstrations this week. Lorry drivers will be blocking major routes around various large cities and some ports; rail unions have announced various stoppages each week, including beyond the final of Euro 2016 football tournament (11 July); air travel will be disrupted by airport staff today and traffic controllers from tomorrow; ferry ports could be affected today and Thursday.
All these movements are related to the new labour laws which the government is pushing through.
