Great morning. I have angels not stubborn donkeys. The blacksmith arrived and we caught all four donkeys easily. They had their sabots / hooves trimmed without a shuffle or kick. The first time ever all four have been well behaved, there is usually some shuffling or a leg raised tentatively for a kick from Filou or Rosie .
It is that feeling you have when a child comes home from school with good reports, remember that, not often but a good feeling when it happened.
Then walked the dogs by the river in Varen wishing I had the camera as two farmers tried to cut up and dislodge the fallen tree. One in the water with waders another with a tractor to recuperate the wood.
Malc stayed home working on the unenviable task of cleaning out the dependance. Having finished the shed he is motivated to continue with the ever growing amount of stuff that is stuffed in the barn/ dependance, out of sight.
Thinking about moving has had a cataclysmic effect on jobs getting done now we are staying.
