My name is Saskia Disant, and I’m a friend of Anke, she gave me your blog address. We have met in St. Antonin on the market a few times, but I’m not sure if you remember? Anyway, we (my husband and I) have a dog-sitting problem. And Anke suggested that your blog might help.
We have a lovely female border collie named Jade, who just turned one (10/10/2015). My husband works fulltime. I was unemployed since February, but now probably have found a job too. Still have to go through my probationary period, of course. To sum it all up, here’s our list of wishes:
- to start with, we need a dog-sitter a.s.a.p. until the end of November. From there on I might take her to work, but that depends on the situation. Do I get my contract? Can our dog handle being at work with me?
- We have a temporarily dog-sitter, and pay €10 a day. But within reason, we’re willing to negotiate.
- We’re looking for a person who likes young energetic dogs, is willing and able to have long walks and play with her. She LOVES other dogs! A playmate would be great.
- We both work in Albi, but live near St. Christophe. So we’re looking for someone who lives in/near Albi, or nearby our house (St. Christophe, Lagarde Viaur, Le segur, Laguepie, St. André de Najac, Montirat, etc), or on our way to work (Mirandol, Carmaux).
- Our problem ‘areas’ are the Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, but only when we both have to work. As a receptionist I work alternating days.
- We need someone who is flexible with his/her hours. My husband works from 08.00_20.00 and I work from 06.00_21.00. So she’ll have to stay overnight as well.
