One climber a well known personality of Villeneuve sur Lot, Philippe was killed along with a friend from Haute Garonne. Phillipe Depaire was in his fifties and in his life as a teacher and councillor had given a lot to the community.
He will be remembered and missed says the present Mayor of Villeneuve.
