Dogs or children, which come first?

Hi Val
Approach a strange dog and you could have you hand bitten off. Approach this blog for help re-homing a dog when you make your grandchildren a priority and other readers may bite your head off!  Dog loving readers may be understandably exasperated but a little more understanding and softer tone would reflect better "humanity rocking"!

Val says a bit over the top. A strange dog is very unlikely to bite you and making people fearful of strange dogs is just daft. A calm manner proffering your hand to smell and a calm voice does the trick. The worse thing you can do is wave a stick or be frightened.
The reader who bites off heads is probably one of the biggest rehomers of dogs in Midi Pyrenees, Sue at Poorpaws.  Sue was absolutely right in that she knows dogs and rehoming and with the information given Happy would never be rehomed.
Sue's idea of fencing an area for dogs ... or children seemed like a good one to me!!
