Back to base, with TAGlines

Clearing out the storage area in the top of our barn I came across 4 of the earliest copies of TAGlines dating from 2004 to Spring 2006
They are still relevant although many of the contributers have moved  back to the UK or died.
I have passed a happy couple of hours reading the articles and feel that many could be used again updated.
TAGlines was initially published as a newspaper and given away free. It was taken in by local shops, hairdressors etc and as it was in colour the printing was paid for by advertisers.
It was only a few years before we realised we could do the same thing on the internet with a blogspot.
Times change and TAG is also on Facebook albeit with a new name.
The most interesting stuff is still here on the blog spot which gets thousands of views each week, sometimes each day.
Wait for some of the articles which will make you smile and if you have been here some years, remember friends now moved on, for whatever reason.
Malc and I write it every day and have done for all these years.
You may ask why?
We wanted to learn, we wanted to inform, we wanted and want to enrich our lives with knowledge of our new country and compatriots.
I think we do that.
