As we know, termite is endemic in this part of France. It is wise to keep an eye on it.
We were advised to consult Joan Puech (06 63689597) about any concerns we had on timber and wood that needed treating. He specialises in proofing and treating old buildings against termite, wood infestations and dry rot. He looked thoroughly around, gave us all sorts of advice on the care and maintenance of a farm house of indeterminate age, and charged nothing at all. If anyone needs help I would look no further.
